What single piece of advice would you give a young creative before he or she sits down with you at PN7?

“First of all, enjoy yourself. Come with an open mind, listen to what the CDs have to say (and there will be a lot that they’ll have to say) but just remember the few bits that you remember the morning after - they’re the tips that probably inspired you most. Enjoy yourself.”

Do you prefer to look at work on a laptop or in a physical portfolio?

“Doesn’t really matter. Its all about the ideas. “

Finish this sentence: “Kids these days…”

“…seem to worry more about execution than about the core thought. The more time you spend putting your thoughts on a blank sheet of paper versus photoshopping stuff on a computer the better you’ll be in the long run. For sure!”
