Portfolio Night 8 ticket sales: 24 hours later…

Wow, what a first day of sales for Portfolio Night 8! Yesterday at this time, tickets went on sale for thirteen Portfolio Night 8 cities in Europe and The Americas: Atlanta, Chicago, Dublin, Frankfurt, Helsinki, London, Los Angeles, New York, Quebec City, Philadelphia, Sao Paulo, Stockholm and Toronto.

Experience tells us that the first day of ticket sales is always pretty crazy, but even we were blown away by yesterday’s response. And now, 24 hours after the floodgates were opened, we’re more than impressed with the response. As of this moment, both PN8 London and PN8 Toronto have sold more than half of their tickets, setting new Portfolio Night records for one-day ticket sales for a city. PN8 New York, the former one-day sales record, is in third place. Our guess is that people are waiting to see the Creative Director list before buying. Don’t wait too long, ladies and gentlemen. Trust us, the CD list for the Big Apple is always fantastic, and tickets will sell out.

The other cities, from Portfolio Night veterans such as Chicago and Sao Paulo, and newcomers like Stockholm and Philadelphia, have also been doing well, and the energy and enthusiasm coming from these agencies is extraordinary. We can’t wait until the other cities are ready to sell tickets too add to that excitement!  Stay tuned for more info on which cities will be next.

But if you’re planning on attending one of the thirteen PN8 events that went on sale yesterday, act quickly; five more tickets were purchased in the time it took to write this.
