How it works:

Portfolio Night 8 ticket holders in participating countries* may download up to 30 high- resolution images from select Corbis Images collections between March 22 and May 20, 2010.

Images may be used only in Portfolio Night portfolios. Images may not be published in any capacity online and may not be used in any other materials unrelated to Portfolio Night.

*Participating countries include Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, United Kingdom, and the United States. Portfolio Night 8 will be taking place in the following cities in those countries:

How to get your Corbis images for your Portfolio Night portfolio:

1. Log into your corbisimages.com account.

What?! You don’t already have one? CLICK RIGHT HERE to register for one. It’s fast, free, and will come in pretty handy long after Portfolio Night and long into your career.

2. Pick your pics.

Once you’re logged in, click on the “More Search Options” button. Here you’ll find search parameters for  Corbis’ Premium, Standard, Value and Super Value Collections. In each of these four areas, click ‘Deselect all’, then reselect Bettmann, Blink, Crush and Ivy under the Premium Collections. Under the Standard Collections, reselect Bettmann, Blink, Crush, Ivy and Image100, and under the Super Value Collections, reselect Image100. There you go! you’ve just set the parameters for your photographic playground.

So now you’ve got a ton of images at your disposal. See ones you like? Click the little lightbulb icon beside each image and it will be placed in your corbisimages account lightbox. You might wanna give your lightbox a name like Portfolio Night 8, especially if you already use Corbis and have made a few lightboxes already.

3. Get your license.

Anybody can make a lightbox, but only PN8 ticketholders can get the images out of their lightbox and into their portfolios. To do that you’ll need to sign the Corbis Images Portfolio Night Image Licensing Agreement. You can find that document RIGHT HERE in PDF format. Print, sign and scan (or sign electronically and save trees)

4. Let us know when you’re ready.

Simply fill out the form below, attach your Licensing Agreement, and voila! Image requests will be processed within 24 to 48 hours (excluding weekends). Your selected images will be placed directly into your Corbis Images account, and you will receive an e-mail notification when they are ready for download from your account.
